Things to do
The Ebra delta is a protected
nature reserve, its a vast area of wetland in Spain which is home to
many different species of wild birds we are twenty minutes away by car,
so well worth a visit
There is also a train into Barcelona from L'Ametlla de mar station a return
ticket will cost around €16 each for a day trip, the train takes two
hours into Barcelona or you can drive which will take about 60
minutes. Our B&B is a ten minute drive from the station.
You can also visit Valencia by train from L'Ametlla
de mar. That also makes a very nice day out.
There are some lovely walks as you step out of
the drive from the B&B, there are lanes going off to every direction
so if you get bored you can always take the dog for a walk.

Nearest Towns
There are two towns in which the B&B is nearest too L'Ametlla
de mar and El'
Perello.
L'Ametlla de mar is a lovely spanish town with lot's
of shops and restaurants, As you are walking around the village
the sea is located at the bottom of the road, as you make your way to
the other end of the town there is a beautiful harbour where the fishermen
come in, you can buy fresh fish from them daily.
When you visit El'Perello
you will find a small
selection of shops and restaurants that are all very welcoming. The
village is smaller then L'Ametlla de mar but has a tighter
community, the people are very friendly. There is a lovely market
every Saturday which is held in the main street.
(The beer in El'Perello is very cheap)
There is a town called Tortosa which is about
twenty minutes
from the B&B it is a much larger town which has everything for younger
people, there are some really nice clothes shops, restaurants, pastry
shops etc, really worth a trip to hunt around and pick up some great
bargains on your day out.
